DM Ex Libris

Ex Libris (aka XL), is responsible for the programming on Radio XL. He also does the RXL mixes that you hear from time to time. XL grew up in California's San Joaquin Valley listening to alternative music on KFSR, KWOD and Live 105, back when those radio stations played compelling alternative music. Moving to Los Angeles in the early 1990s, XL has enjoyed the rich and vibrant musical culture of Southern California ever since. Though the internet has opened up unprecedented access to music, you can still find Ex Libris listening to KCRW on the radio or browsing the aisles of LA's last, true record store, Amoeba Music.

Though much of his listening preferences are reflected in the alternative, electronica, dance and classic alternative music heard on Radio XL, Ex Libris also enjoys listening to classical, classical crossover music and jazz and LOVES Ella Fitzgerald. XL's eclectic musical tastes will be reflected in RXL's playlist from time to time.
