Part of getting older are the changes around you(look in the mirror) and all the new stuff(look in the bassinet).Changes in music are going to happen, but you never let go of your early years. You do however "broaden your horizons" as the years trickle by. Most of my early favorites are still making new music,though I'm sure they go to bed a lot earlier and get much more rest. Sadly, we lost Waylon last year, but his music will outlive us all. My wife(loves the 80's)and I try to meet in neutral territory on music, but most of the time she just gives in (my smile is her favorite thing about me). And of course my teenage daughter has all the new styles of headphones in various sizes, shapes, and colors.(She's not so crazy about my smile) The future of music hasn't changed much from the past. It's still in the hands of the songwriters and the artists who love what they do and do what they love.
