About Me
(( revolving radio ))
revolving radio is the undertaking of A Girl Who Loves Music. She spends way too much time listening to songs, seeing live music in Chicago and updating this station. Or maybe not enough time, if you ask her.
Her tastes are diverse and eclectic but she especially likes indie, lo-fi, glam, garage, punk, post-punk, dream pop, folk, psychedelic and ambient. Still, labels limit. She knows that some of the best artists don't fit nicely into silly categories.

Primal and intense, The Pixies changed my taste in music.

Melodic indie rock music at it's best. Lou Barlow is a genius.

Catchy lyrics and a sound all their own.

Yeah they're loud and heavy but look past the noise and you'll find artists of the highest caliber. This music is not for stupid people!
Sebadoh

If I were stranded alone on a desert island, I would want Lou with me to remind me of the entire human emotional experience, everyone I've loved and hated.
The Wedding Present

Okay, so I'm a sucker for songs about relationships. David Gedge can work that same theme a thousand different ways and each one sounds fresh.
The Pixies

Doolittle
This album influenced my musical tastes more than any other. Praise the Pixies.
