We would like to see come to T&T via the entire jazz genre, artistes in regular festivals held throughout the year from now on until the universe decides to stop us. WMPC Riff Jammz is the name of the station and we wish to also stage local events such as Roving WMPC Riff Jammz hangouts as a starting point to the jazz festivals, where the music can be demonstrated. The music itself is not new in terms of the jazz genre, but it is brand new music by the artistes-not back in time music, and new in terms of what the local bands both conventional and steel bands should be playing, if they wish to travel extensively on the international jazz circuit. This circuit is by far bigger than the carnival or calypso circuit.
