I am sumomo, a Japanese name which mean peach, this name given to me by one of my martial arts teacher when I was a young man. many years I have neglected my musical abilities/ I always loved to play instruments as a kid they were my toys, also always loved to record music and the technology behind it I couldn't have picked a better time to be independent artists and the time we live in now the technology is there for me everything I need. There were times when I record music track by track old keyboards anything I could use that would make a good musical sound but once I was done with the process I would just move to the next song never looking back only strive to be better, at the process of recording music some music till this day I don't even know where it's at. my mother after a serious accident while at the hospital told me not to just make music for myself share with others. Most of my life I just wanted to be a great martial artists and ignored my ability as a musician. Now I must make amends with my spirit the part which express itself with music, once I made this decision to pursue music as a career then went about building my studio piece by piece learning all aspect of recording music I've been a martial arts fighter most my life but this endeavor, is very hard very little sleep don't see people so much or even outside, not afraid to admit even shed it a couple tears. Then created my own record label called THOTH RECORDS Thoth's it is he who questions the souls of the dead about their deeds in life before their heart is weighed against the feather of MAAT he is also the great counselor and the other gods frequently went to him for advice. most of my life I have searched for enlightenment through my martial arts and years of meditation and contemplation and I've concluded that music is the vibration of the universe ultimate expression and communication force of life itself. Even though I'm of African-American descent, have always followed Egyptology closely also a heavily Asian religions influence, I am an unusual hybrid through music I will try to cultivate this hybrid style with my label THOTH RECORDS. There is a saying in Japanese swordsmanship if you can swing your sword a thousand times without stopping you will become enlightened, I have achieved that goal,with my sword, and I'm on my way with my music, I will swing with music, like I swing with my sword and achieve my goals be the best I can be THOTH records for life.
