I'm English and have been living in Barcelona for over 10 years, teaching mostly in companies. Music has always been a passion and after 3 months waiting for an internet connection, I realised I had enough music to, as my parents would say, "start a shop". So here's the next best thing. By the way, I'm terrible at choosing user names, so this time I stole a line from Steely Dan's "Third World Man" which I had been listening to at lunchtime. Sounded exotic enough, and the rest of the station idea came from there. Honest.

Due apologies to Dave Brubeck, but Desmond was the "voice" of the Quartet, a rare talent for expression.
Frank Sinatra
Typical, I know, but he sang every song like he knew EXACTLY what it meant, to the last syllable.
Richard Bona
A recent discovery. African music with a jazz feel (or is it vice-versa?) and a voice that makes you truly go "Yeah!".
Carole King
Not just a pretty face, but IMHO, one of THE great singer-songwriters. You'd be surprised how many of her songs you know!
