I'm an expat Texan, and a one-time rocker, who never fully took on board my root-level love for Country music till moving to Britain more than a decade ago. (It was one of those Don't- Know- What- You've- Got- Till- It's- Gone kind of things.) Since then, I've been on (and continue on) a voyage of richest discovery. Texas Exile Radio is a labour of love: it expresses my desire to bring the fruit of that voyage, an eclectic mix of twangy hard country styles, to a wider audience -- and at the same time bridge some distance between myself and my native soil.
