Larinda J. King received her Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications from Savannah State University with a concentration in T.V. and Radio. She has a love for creative arts, sales and marketing, drama, and Media Communications. She is also an aspiring screen write and play write, producing a play her senior year of her undergraduate studies, and looking to produce the on-screen version of it in the near future.
Her greatest accomplishment was founding and organizing a college ministry geared towards showing the love of Jesus Christ to college students. This achievement along with a passion for evangelism, lead her to start Commissioned 2 Love Outreach Ministries Inc., a non profit organization to reach her surrounding community and campus body. Along with her college achievements, Larinda was also ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and has planted two churches in the Georgia(Savannah) and Florida(Tallahassee) area. With a focus on college age young adults, this Ministry has found its way onto several college campuses, including but not limited to, Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in Tallahassee, FL.
Currently Mrs. King is pursuing further study of the field of radio technology, with a hope to pursue the affect of Christian radio in the U.S. and around the world. She also is the founder and Chief Executive of Run it Down, an editorial magazine that addresses the issues of college life. This is just the beginning of Larinda’s workmanship, and more, such as “The Force” radio station is to be expected.
