I'm a professional designer and illustrator from the Bay Area and - like a lot of folks - I cannot work without music to lift my spirits and rev my creative engines. I hope you like what you hear on my station.

At 13, I heard a bass solo - by an unknown band - on on a beat-up cassette bootleg. It was my first introduction to Cliff Burton, and a lifelong Metallica fan was born.

The perfect metal band post-Sabbath but pre-Metallica. I was a rabid fan in Junior High. Let me paint a picture for you: March 14, 1985, they came to my hometown of San Diego on the Powerslave Tour and left a trail of dead and bloodied headbangers with our devil-horned fingers raised in awe. Greatest. Live. Show. Ev-ar.

Absolutely uncompromising after almost 25 years. Pure thrash sound. They make Marilyn Manson sound like Richard Simmons, only gayer. God Hates Us All is a masterpiece (and a totally underrated) work of the metal genre. This is what Satan has on his iPod.

Thank God for Internet Radio! I never would have discovered this unsigned band without Live365. Metal heads from Berlin that will blow you away!

I NEED MORE SPACE!
Black Sabbath, Testament, Anthrax, Megadeth, Corrosion of Conformity, Tool, Otep, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society, Exodus, Suicidal Tendencies, Dio, D.R.I., Alice In Chains, M.O.D., Audioslave, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Soundgarden, Gwar, AC/DC, Killswitch Engage, Helmet, Hatebreed, Pantera.

We Sold Our Soul for Rock and Roll
The essential metal album by the blokes who invented the genre. Ozzy, Tony, Geezer, and Bill STILL have not been bested by the vast ocean of posers that followed them. Told the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to 'F*** Off' when they were invited to be inductees - God Bless 'em.
Metallica

Master of Puppets
A brilliant band at the height of their abilities and youth. Perfected the metal genre. The last album with Cliff. RIP.
Queensryche

Operation Mindcrime
I didn't appreciate it when it came out in the mid-eighties. Thanks to internet radio, it's gained new life - and now I consider it a wonder, every song is powerful and smart. Way ahead of it's time.
Iron Maiden

Piece of Mind
I learned more about history, myths, and literature from Maiden then from any scholar. The Trooper. Revelations. The Flight of Icarus... Need I say more?

Suicidal Tendencies
This album coincided exactly at the height my rebellious teen years. It was a glorious mixture of anti-authority indignation, feeling immortal, and girls, girls, girls! An amazing time to be sure! Sorry for being such a shit Mom & Dad.

All Systems Go !!! How did this guy get the soundtrack to my life? Great rotation, and some really obscure cuts that surprised me.

Stoner Rock Network This station introduced me to Ojo Rojo and Clutch, two bands I've never heard of, and never would have on traditional radio. Great station! When I told my Mom about it she said "Are there still stoners?," Classic.
