Since I was about 8 years old I wanted to create radio broadcasts, but I never knew how to do it.
In 1996 I built my own long wave transmitter, using my PC and sound card - and the radiator of our house as antenna. Although it was fun and I've been broadcasting with it a bit, the signal was not very strong and after some time I lost interest in it.
In 2001, I coincidentally found a station which was broadcasting using Live365. 2 days later my own station was online, and after a week my first 3-hour program was broadcasting.
After a few weeks, I realised that to get more listeners, I would have to update my broadcast regularly. Since it took about 2 days to create my first broadcast, I decided to write some software to make things easier. Later I added software to improve the sound quality. The result is what you can hear now on my station, Weird Titan Radio.
