DJ Hipnotik aka Teacher Hood has worked in media since 1998. After spending several years working with independent Hip Hop, Rap, and R&B music artists, she realized there was a huge void. The void is radio airplay. She started with Hood Access, a 2-hour radio show that is currently on hiatus, but will return in 2011 to air everyday at 12:00 PM (Arizona). Listeners can kick it live with DJ Hipnotik, while she plays music, interviews local artists, shares funny stories, and even industry news. She is often joined by co-host, Loyal aka Loyality, and various artists around the globe.
