The station features an eclectic mix of Indiepop, Punk, Twee, Lo-fi, Post-Rock, Riot Grrl, Shibuya-Kei, French (Ye-Ye) and other European Pop, Electronica, Trip-hop, Techno, Experimental, Modernist, and Insurgent Country.
Weve been broadcasting since 2000, starting out as Radio Antarctica, later changing to the moniker Gun Monkey Indie Radio, and finally settling in as Radio Etienne. The station was founded by Cliff Williamson and recently added two additional broadcasters: John Casasanta and Vincent Longoria.
