N.E.D. (No Evidence of Disease) is an extraordinary new band, consisting entirely of musically talented gynecologic cancer surgeons, who have come together to create a mix of original alternative rock and folk-rock songs with the goal of raising awareness about women's cancers. Rising star producer, Mario McNulty, who has worked with David Bowie, Linkin Park and other rock bands of note signed on to produce N.E.D.'s self-titled CD, No Evidence of Disease. The six-song EP will be released on September 8th, to coincide with Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month.

Cause:

Net proceeds from the sale of the CD will be donated to the N.E.D. Cancer Foundation in association with the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation (GCF) to support public education about gynecologic cancers and to fund promising research projects and programs.

The band’s mission is to enhance knowledge about women's reproductive cancers, provide valuable resources for cancer patients and their families, and raise awareness & money for the fight against the diseases.

If you listen closely to the lyrics on the CD, you will hear a fresh and sympathetic approach to issues women with cancer and their families face. Both the physical and digital EP will include a booklet with information entitled “What Every Woman Should Know.”
