I worked for years as a Rock Club DJ. While other DJs were playing Metal and Grunge, I embraced the BritRock scene of the 70's and later the 90's, as it harked back to the great bands of my youth. To my delight, many people were secret admirers of this type of music. I always wanted to create a station for those people to enjoy, as well as to expose new people to this music.
