2 May 2009: Too Cold to Go Outside for cello and piano uploaded.
8 May 2009: new sketch uploaded.
24 May 2009 - more piano sketches uploaded. I'm working on a piece for shakuhachi which I'm hoping will be finished soon.
7 June 2009 - new sketches uploaded and the new shakuhachi piece is finished and up! Score available at my website.23 June 2009: new sketches up -learning some new music software which is very exciting.
12 July 2009: bunch of new stuff up - and a hello from a neighbourhood cow!
8 Aug 2009: new sketches up - waiting for new software to arrive as I am finally going to switch from Finale to Sibelius!
25 Aug 2009: New sketches uploaded. Still trying to sort out Sib software and how I'm working with it. Also spending more time outside enjoying the garden!
23 Sept. 2009: Happy autumnal equinox! Working really hard on a concert piece but new stuff uploaded.
10 Oct. 2009 - Still working hard on the new piece - it's a 25 minute symphonic work so there are a lot of notes! New stuff uploaded.
22 October 2009: The new piece is so close to being finished but there seem to be a lot of details begging for attention. Trying to get the playback to work the way I want is not as simple as I'd hoped. New sketches uploaded today, and enjoying a warm, wet break in the weather!
31 Oct 2009: Would you believe it? Still trying to finish the concert piece, working title is "the blacks". However, new sketch uploaded. Thanks to Live 365 for the increased storage space!
9 November 2009: new stuff up. Amazing how difficult it is to finish a piece. I've realized I now need some new text to complete the vocal part of "the blacks"... it begins to feel never ending. sigh. But I know it's worth it!
