Welcome to WCB (Worldwide Christian Broacasting). What makes this station stand out from others playing southern gospel is that we play music dating back to the 80s, with an occassional track from the 70s, as well as current favorites. We also play a lot of album tracks you won't likely hear anywhere else. A typical cd will contain 10 to 12 songs,and the record labels will normally release 2 or 3 of those songs for airplay. You would be surprised at the quality of the songs you never hear? In addition to cds, we play music that was recorded on 33 and 45 rpm records as well as cassette tapes. While they are not digital quality, there are a lot of great songs on those albums, that have not been aired, or have been long forgotten. We are adding new albums on a regular basis, so be sure and check back often. You are bound to hear a song you haven't heard in years, or have never heard? This station is a ministry, so my primary concern is not following a chart, although I do look to the Singing News Chart for guidance to see what groups are popular? Usually, if a group is charting, they are worthy of inclusion in the playlist. So long as the artists can sing on key, and the songs are Biblicaly based, I will consider using them? If the songs don't meet those guidelines, even if they chart, they won't be used. This station is owned by Jesus Christ, and I am simply the person he chose to manage it. While I am unable to financially operate this as a source of income, and drive a truck for a living, I take this station serious. I care about the quality of what goes on the air, and while I know there is no monetary compensation in this life, there is a pay day in the world to come. Anyway, thank you for checking us out. If you believe that, ask him to forgive you of your sins, and to come into your heart to save your soul. While this life down here is but a vapor, your soul will go on for eternity. The only question is where you will dwell, heaven or hell? Invite him into your heart today, and you can settle that matter today.
