We are the South Texas Conjunto Association, a non-profit, educational organization that promotes about conjunto regional music. This is the music of the pioneers of South Texas that continues to be played today. Our program has evolved from public radio to commercial radio to the world wide web. It's in Spanish or Tex-Mex... whatever you want to call it... our music is unique in style, it's not Norteño music but South Texas in flavor. It is based on "conjunto" or essemble of four basic instruments: one accordion, a bajo-sexto, an electric bass guitar, and drums. The music is BEAT driven and is intended a DANCE music. PURO CONJUNTO, CARNAL! Ponle, Bro!
