Spaceship Cackalacka plays music that will expand your mind, as well as serving as a tribute to all these obscure and/or forgotten geniuses, burnouts, lunatics and future leaders of the free world. Mostly I feature Psychedelic and Prog bands from all over the globe who recorded in the late 60's & 70's but will play artists from more modern times who still fly that freak flag! An overview: Krautrock, Garage, Zeuhl, Canterbury, Motorik, early Electronic, Postrock, Freakbeat, experimental, R.I.O., postpunk, Jazz Fusion that doesn't suck, and other heavy acidelic rock that I think is cool. Artists in heavy rotation: Can, Love, Gong, Hawkwind, Soft Machine, Amon Duul, Caravan, Neu!, Magma, King Crimson, Captain Beefheart, MC5, Faust, Area, Pink Fairies, etc..
