Country Church Radio plays conservative Christian music such as you might hear in a small country church on a Sunday morning. There is a strong emphasis on traditional congregational hymns. There are also some piano and instrumental pieces, choir music, a few classical pieces by Bach and Handel, some old obscure English hymns, and some newly written hymns. Currently there are 181 songs (about 10 hours) in the playlist. Favorite hymns you will hear include:

• When I Survey The Wondrous Cross

Artists include:

• college groups from Bob Jones University, Northland College, Clearwater Christian College, and Maranatha College
• church choirs from Grace Community Church, Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, and Tenth Presbyterian Church
• performance choirs such as The Cambridge Singers (John Rutter) and Huddersfield Choral Society
• pianist/composers such as Paul Jones, Jeff Bjork, and Linda McKechnie
• small groups such as Scott and Becky Aniol, Unto Him, and the Steve Pettit Evangelistic Team

The ads in the audio stream and on the web page are provided by Live365 in order to pay for free listening. Some of these may be offensive to Country Church listeners, and are inconsistent with the purpose and style of Country Church Radio. There is nothing I can do about the ads at this time. Someday Country Church might upgrade to a Pro station with full control over all its content, but at $166 a month that is not likely in the near future. Some interim measures that may help are: listeners can sign up for the VIP package which will eliminate all advertisements ($6 a month, see the VIP link at the top of this page), or listeners can use the FireFox or Chrome web browsers with AdBlock Plus to filter the web page ads.
