Tune in to free103point9 Online Radio to hear radio art and transmission art, plus fringe genres such as free jazz, noise, avant folk, electronic, turntablism, improvisation, found sounds, media collages, generative sound, field recordings, dub, creative compositions, and other fringe styles. free103point9 is a nonprofit arts organization focused on establishing and cultivating the genre Transmission Arts by promoting artists who explore transmission mediums for creative expression. Most artists played are free103point9 co-conspirators from New York, but others are from around the world. free103point9 works most closely with a core group of transmission artists including 31 Down, Alexis Bhagat, Matt Bua, Damian Catera, Melissa Dubbin and Aaron S. Davidson, The Dust Dive, Joshua Fried, Anna Friz, Max Goldfarb, Tianna Kennedy, Latitude/Longitude, Sophea Lerner, LoVid, Todd Merrell, Michelle Nagai, neuroTransmitter, Ben Owen, Radio Ruido, Tom Roe, Michelle Rosenberg, and Scanner. free103point9 programming includes radio art of all sorts, with live feeds from Brooklyn, the free103point9 Wave Farm in upstate New York, and from other events all over the world. free103point9 Online Radio also annually airs the "Deep Wireless" festival from Toronto, Richard Foreman's "rehearsals" and the Noise! festival from Ontological Theater in Mannhattan, and other annual events.
