Updated as of 26 October, 2009This weeks new Ariel Publicity indie band is Megaphone. Making their home in sunny Orlando, Florida, Megaphone is Matt Bloodwell on guitar, vocals and main songwriting duties, Paul Smith on lead guitar, James Woodrich on bass, and Scott Smith on drums. If you're looking for some fresh hard rock talent to give you good eargasm, then check these guys out. And if you plan on being in Orlando and want to catch them live, check out their website for their schedule. As always, if you like what you hear, visit their website and purchase their CDs. Enjoy! Are you a drummer who believes you have what it takes? Then check out a drum solo competition that Chad Smith and the Meatbats are sponsoring. 1st prize will be a Pearl Chad Smith Signature 5-piece Shell Pack with the kick personally autographed by Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats, a Bombastic Meatbats T-Shirt and CD. Shell pack features 22"x18" Bass, 12"x9" Tom, 14"x14" Floor Tom, 16"x16" Floor Tom, and 14"x5" Signature Snare. Visit Warrior Records for more information and to enter. Midnight Tonight Is the Deadline! And if you snooze, you lose. So bang out a video now and enter it before time runs out. The winner will be announced on the contest page, 2 November, 2009. Good luck! Besides Megaphone, the following indie artists are in this weeks playlist: Project 7, Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats, Agah Bahari, Apple Pie, Gordon Stone, Portal, Underwhelmed, Spy For Hire, Omar Alexander & Soulare, Brian Tarquin, John Huldt, Lindsey Boullt, The Kelly Richey Band, Tiedye Keith, Technical Info, Tunnels with Percy Jones, The Pimps of Joytime, John Wheeler, Jack Broad, Joe Deninzon, and Tom Grose. This weeks new CD's added to my collection are Paradigm Shift, BirthDeathInfinity, and Lost for Words, all from Project 7 and compliments of co-founder and guitarist, Dan Begelman. Thanks Dan! You can now take eargasm with you on the go! Live365 Mobile is now available for Windows Mobile devices, the iPhone and the Blackberry. And I thought I saw a beta version for the Palm. But the link appears to have been removed. I hope this means their about to release it. To download the Live365 Mobile app, follow this link. And for those of you who own the iPhone or the iPod Touch, just search on Live365 in the App Store. Free bootleg: JazzFusion.TV. Don't forget to sign the guest book.
