About the Station

An eclectic mix of jazz, fusion, rock, blues, funk and anything else that gives me good eargasm.

About fuzoid

I'm a former University of Rhode Island DJ who got bit by the broadcasting bug. I tried the commercial thing for a while... hated it! After a long absence I gravitated to Live365 because of the freedom of being in control of my own playlist and the sound quality of the broadcast. And since I have a rather extensive music collection which continues to grow almost on a daily basis, I decided to share it with y'all. Extensive as it is, it is still limited. So if there is something specific you would like to hear, send me an email and I'll see what I can do. And since this broadcast is always a work in progress, stay tuned for futher developments.

I would be remiss if I do not give mention to T.O. the MoFo, also a former WRIU DJ, for the use of "eargasm" as my station name. Although no longer with WRIU, T.O. can still be heard in all his glory with co-host, Jay, at Eargazm. Enjoy!

Sorry for my absence but life has a way of interrupting the best of intentions. I'll be back to update the featured indie artist bio after I update the playlist. Stay tuned.

Every once in a while an indie artist comes along that deserves particular mention, Gabriel Amato is one of those artists. This self taught virtuoso, while born in Philadelphia, PA, is known for his work with the Italian prog-rock group, Banco, before joining up with Ricardo Coccante. Gabriel currently has two solo releases, Handshadows, and his latest release, Behind the Clouds, that are available on CDBaby and Amazon. I'm going to introduce you to Gabriel with the YouTube version of his song, Topaz Moonlight which can be viewed by clicking on the song title or by visiting Garbriel's site by clicking HERE. I highly recommend stopping by his Video page while visiting his site for more from this phenomenal musician.

The following indie artists are currently in play: Ian Narcisi, The Shining Skulls, Sigurdur Eyberg, The Kobolds, Hudson K, Thelonious Dub, Sokoband, Mekaal Hasan, Salman Ahmad, NuShooz Orchestra, Jamie Mallender, Patrick Yandall, 19 A.D.D., Project 7, Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats, Agah Bahari, Apple Pie, Joshua Stedman, Marcus Williams, Megaphone, Adam Holzman, Gordon Stone, Portal, Underwhelmed, Spy For Hire, Brian Tarquin, John Huldt, Lindsey Boullt, Kelly Richey Band, Tiedye Keith, Technical Info, Joe Deninzon, and many others.
