Those furry, tunnel-digging-hibernating woodchucks are renowned weather forecasters. It doesn't matter if you call them woodchucks or groundhogs the results are the same: They forecast how much more winter we might endure -- and wreck gardens everywhere. Here in NW PA USA good old Punxsatawny Phil says (by lack of a shadow at dawn) that our winter will be shorter and less severe. I'm relieved and feel happier and more hopeful as "the dead of Winter" weakens its grip and allows the possibilities of Spring sneak past an icy stronghold. I believe the groundhog! Hippie Chick Radio is reset and ready for Spring! Renewal, new beginnings -- that's the promise of Spring and I can feel the undercurrents of its coming. Spend some time with us.
