Broadcaster Comments

Here is a station devoted to the music and spoken word recordings inspired by the works of JRR Tolkien (The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings). Music includes folk songs, 1960s psychedelic rock, jazz, classical music and movie scores. The list was selected to reflect reasonable listening. You should be able to listen to Shire Radio while you read the greatest works of the 20th Century. I usually update the playlist on Saturday or Sunday so the station may be down for an hour on those days. For general information about the station or to join the e-mail announcements list, Click here: Shire Radio.
