Many Japanese, when asked, will not readily admit that they actually like Enka. Yet take a stroll through any bar district in Japan late at night, and sounds of karaoke enka songs will echo. If you've ever spent a night of enebriation in the mizushobai, you'll surely appreciate what we have to remind you of it! If you're looking for J-Pop, you've come to the wrong place. Although the focus is on Enka, I'll occasionally throw something different your way, such as the recently added Tsugaru Shamisen tracks. Enjoy!
