This Mbari Mbayo Radio is an effort to continue our radio program of African and Caribbean music and information which we started in 1968 on WHPK-FM at the University Of Chicago, and moved to WFCR-FM at UMASS Amherst in 1970, and later to WDCU-FM in Washington, DC (1982-1985). Over the years, we have presented the music of, and interviews of, various African and Calypso musicians.
