Welcome to 1980's Country. I play mostly 1980's country with a few modern covers of 1980's songs thrown in for good measure. My playlist currently consists of a little more about 80 songs, but if the station attracts a fan base to warrant an upgrade (we currently average 3-4 non-VIP listeners of 5 possible), I will upgrade my account and obtain more storage, enabling me to add more songs--and trust me, I have hundreds if not thousands of them. Too, I will keep the playlist as fresh as I can because, as I said, I have tons more music in the library.

That said, please be aware that a lot of the music I have is on cassette and album. You're not going to find some rare stuff such as Mark Gray on CD. I also have original recordings of music by some artists who have flooded the market with re-recordings. The music on cassette and album has been converted into mp3 format, but be aware that you will hear "skips and pops and white noise" on a few of these songs that have been converted from vinyl, and you will hear some "fuzz" on some of the songs that have been converted from cassette. I am slowly purchasing music now available on CD.

Is there a song you would like to see added to this station? Send me a message. The e-mail address is nineteeneightiescountry at gmail.com. Insert an @ sign for the word at, though, and take out the spaces.
