Broadcaster Comments

This show is dedicated to music written by the most progressive pop band in the world over the last 25 years, Depeche Mode. The Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA-a bunch of big record labels), in their relentless efforts to maintain absolute control of the music industry, have put strict laws on how many songs per hour by one artists anyone can legally broadcast with their Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and have already caused the show to be shut down twice. Therefore, we MUST play a lot of music 'not performed by Depeche Mode' every hour.... But luckily, there's lots of great solo stuff, like Martin Gore, Dave Gahan, Alan Wilder with Recoil and music he’s produced like Nitzer Ebb, Vince Clark with Yaz, Erasure, and cover songs from The Cure, Gus Gus, Tori Amos, manson, and Smashing Pumpkins, and exclusive new versions of classic DM tracks and remixes like Kristy Thirsk, and of course Depeche Mode live versions, extended versions, bootlegs, b-sides and even interviews. We truly feel that despite the RIAA DMCA restrictions, this is an incredible show for anyone who are as big DM fans as we are. We try to update the show a few times per month, check out our website for more info. www.depechemoderadio.net
