IJKW is fashioned after the popular "Jack" format that is prevalent on FM radio. This format promises to play random tracks from any genre and decade. I go one better by playing current songs as well, but I rotate them more sparingly, so, for example, you will hear the top hits only once every four hours. This helps to avoid burnout of songs. I also throw in a slice of disco here, a pinch of 60s there, and then when you least expect it, I'll surprise you with something else. Even the liners are fun and sometimes irreverent (i.e. "97.5 FM, IJKW, playing what we want in no particular order").
