One of our biggest influences in the music we play is radio Caroline that broadcast offshore from 1964 to1990.

Radio Caroline started on Easter Sunday 1964. Broadcasting offshore from a ship at sea, Caroline was followed by many others. In 1967 the UK Government introduced the marine offences act, this closed most of the other offshore stations. Radio Caroline continued against all the odds until her last offshore broadcast in 1990. Radio Caroline helped Change the way we listen to radio in the UK today.

Radio Caroline is still broadcasting in the UK on SKY CHANNEL 0199 in Ireland on NTL CHANNEL 927 and worldwide on the INTERNET @ www.radiocaroline.co.uk
