Sussex Drive Radio is dedicated to and inspired by my college daze at the University of Central Florida. Many hours were spent in a little house on Sussex Drive where the CD player was always on random, the CD collection was always growing... and the cold beer was always pouring. At that time there was also an amazing FM radio show “Real Music Weekends” on Real Radio 104.1 WTKS. The format consisted of an eclectic mix of classic alternative but had new music sprinkled in. Sadly the station changed their format in the fall of 2010. Sussex Drive Radio continues in the spirit of those “Real Music Weekends” and all of the stations out there that continue to break out of the corporate radio mold.
