LesbianFunWorld Radio is a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week, all music radio station broadcasting online. LesbianFunWorld Radio is run by volunteers and is firmly rooted in the lesbian community. We play the kind of music you won’t hear anywhere else, a casual mix of folk, singer-songwriter, rock, and other genres any lesbian performer or band chooses. There is no between-song banter, we have no DJ. Instead, we let the performers speak for themselves.

We started broadcasting in 2000 with a collection of Melissa Etheridge, Tracy Chapman and Indigo Girls tunes, and have expanded to include hundreds of mainstream and independent out lesbian and bisexual women performers. We aim to provide accessible, free, high quality music for the lesbian community and our supporters. Focusing on a diverse community strengthens our resolve to let women's voices ring out across the world and empower both the performer and the listener. With LesbianFunWorld Radio, you are never alone. If you love to listen to music while you read great lesbian books, don't forget to check out our website, LesbianFunworld for information on lesbian titles.

Like what you hear? Don't forget, broadcasting this radio station costs money - the licences, the broadcasting fee and, more importantly, the cost of the music. We do not specifically advertise (although our broadcasting software company, Live 365, does) and that also means we are dependent on our listeners and supporters to help us buy new music and keep our voices heard.

We welcome donations via the 'Donate' button on this page. We also welcome lesbian performers to contact us with their music (although we cannot guarantee your songs will be played).

In the meantime: tune in and listen to the voice of the lesbian community.
